5月14日下午，香港科技大学（广州）（以下简称“港科大（广州）”）第二届暨2024 年度3MT®（Three Minute Thesis，三分钟论文）演讲比赛初赛鸣锣开赛并圆满结束。为进一步夯实我校学生的学术英语交流能力，展示优秀学子研究成果和风采，促进跨学科交流与合作，港科大（广州）去年成功举办了首届3MT®演讲比赛。比赛由语言教育基柱主办，初赛共吸引了近30名来自各枢纽的博士学生和红鸟硕士学生参加。他们用生动有趣的方式介绍了自己的研究项目和成果，赢得了观众和评委的阵阵掌声。

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST(GZ)) will host its first Playshop for Language and Cultural Exchange (PLACE) Summer Camp from July 25 to August 14, 2024. The registration has recently started. Outstanding high school and university students are welcome to apply. At PLACE Summer Camp, students from around the world will engage in in-depth discussions, build friendships, and experience growth alongside Chinese students.

探寻岭南文化，感受中西交流！香港科技大学（广州）“PLACE（Playshop for Language and Cultural Exchange）语言文化交流夏令营”将于2024年7月25日至8月14日举办，诚挚邀请国内外优秀高中生及大学生报名。在PLACE夏令营，国内学生将会与来自美国等母语为英语国家的学生一起深度交流、建立友谊、收获进步与成长。
